This policy is intended to inform the users of our website about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by us in accordance with Italy’s Data Protection Code (“DPC”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). 

WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?

In accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, the following informs you about the legal basis of us processing your data and unless the legal basis is not specifically mentioned, the following applies: 

Consent: This is where we have asked you to provide explicit permission to process your data for a particular purpose. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a and Art. 7 GDPR)

Contract: This is where we process your information to fulfill a contractual arrangement we have made with you. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR)

Legitimate Interests: This is where we rely on our interests as a reason for processing; generally, this is to provide you with the best services in the most secure and appropriate way. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Of course, before relying on any of those legitimate interests, we balance them against your interests and make sure they are compelling enough and will not cause any unwarranted harm.

Legal Obligation: This is where we have a statutory or other legal obligation to process the information, such as for the investigation of crime. (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR)

d) Processing through third-party services:

We use third-party services to provide certain functions and features on our website. While most operate in the background without impact on your Personal Data, some third-party providers will learn your IP address as without your IP address the functions and features used by us can not be displayed in your browser. The following provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, together with links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on the processing of data and so-called opt-out measures, if any: a) Hosting: Hostinger; and b) Fonts: Google Fonts by Google and Font Awesome of Fonticons Inc. 

CHANGE OF PURPOSE

We will only use your Personal Data for the purposes for which we collected it as detailed above, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your Personal Data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

STORAGE AND RETENTION

In relation to meta data obtained about you, we may share a cookie identifier and IP data with analytic service providers to assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our website which is subject to our Cookie Policy.

We may also disclose information in other circumstances such as when you agree to it or if the law, a Court order, a legal obligation or regulatory authority ask us to. If the purpose is the prevention of fraud or crime or if it is necessary to protect and defend our right, property or personal safety of our staff, the website and its users.

MARKETING

HOW WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. DATA BREACHES AND NOTIFICATION

Should we not be able to respond to your request within thirty (30) days, we will tell you why and when we will be able to respond to your request. If we are unable to provide you with any Personal Data or to make a correction requested by you, we will tell you why.

The supervisory authority in Italy is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personal, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, (www.garanteprivacy.it). However, we would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personal or any other supervisory authority.

  • We do not request Personal Data from minors and children;
  • We do not process special category data without obtaining prior specific consent; and
  • We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
